AdX access through an MCM partnership

Moving beyond AdSense? Unlock Google Ad Exchange for your site

If you're using AdSense today, the path to AdX starts with an Ad Manager account. Apply, let our team check that account, and if eligible, receive an invitation from our MCM partner network. We help with onboarding; access is subject to Google's policies.

What AdX access means beyond AdSense

AdSense may be how you first monetized your site. Google Ad Exchange brings additional programmatic demand, with buyers competing in real time for eligible impressions. Depending on your ad setup, it can sit alongside AdSense or serve inventory differently.

AdX demand is reached through the MCM partnership, not by simply submitting a form. Your account and inventory must meet the relevant requirements before our MCM partner network can invite you.

From AdSense to AdX

What changes

You use an Ad Manager network to manage inventory, accept an MCM invitation if eligible, and connect that inventory to AdX demand through the partner relationship.

What stays yours

Your site, content and Google account remain yours. Opening Ad Manager does not automatically close your AdSense account or move its existing balance.

What you do

Create an Ad Manager network if you only use AdSense, apply with its network code, add our reviewer in Ad Manager, then review any MCM invitation you receive.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Apply for access

Already on AdSense? Set up an Ad Manager network first, then send us its sign-in email and network code.

  2. Step 2

Add our team in Ad Manager

Invite the reviewer email shown after you apply. Our team checks the account, sites and inventory; you can remove access at any time.

  3. Step 3

    Accept your MCM invitation

If your account checks out, eligible publishers receive an invitation from our MCM partner network. Accept it in Ad Manager to connect to AdX demand, subject to Google's policies.

You never share a password. The reviewer is a user you add — and can remove — inside your own Ad Manager account.

Who qualifies

AdX approval depends on your account, sites and inventory meeting the requirements of Google and the MCM partner network.

  1. 01

An Ad Manager account you control

If you only use AdSense today, create your Ad Manager network before applying so there is an account to check.

  2. 02

    Good policy standing

Your sites and account have no unresolved policy issues that would block participation.

  3. 03

    Genuine traffic

Your visitors come from sources you can explain, without invalid activity or misleading ad placements.

  4. 04

    Clear inventory declarations

Your ads.txt, sellers.json where applicable, domains and ad setup reflect the inventory you actually offer.
